The Navajo believe that turquoise could only have been created by pieces of the sky falling to earth. This classic nude study was created with over 1,000 tiles of pure North African Turquoise with each tile measuring 3/8".

With it's classically beautiful blue-green tones, turquoise was chosen to represent the artist's historical tribute to beauty.
