The Navajo believe that Turquoise could only have been created by pieces of the sky falling to earth, and with it's classically beautiful blue-green tones, it's the perfect gemstone with which to reproduce fine shadow details and subtle tonal variations.

This classic nude study was created with over 1,000 tiles of pure North African Turquoise each measuring 3/8".  The overall artwork measures approximately 11" x 17".
