A similar effect can be achieved by simply tilting one's head while
wearing regular polarized lenses.
To create this effect, tens of thousands of plastic squares were analyzed
under two sets of polarized lighting conditions. Each square was
simultaneously evaluated under both conditions before it was placed into
the final mosaic.
The entire process took over three months to complete.
